Brother Henry Prentiss receives the Holy Ghost at the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, California and witnessed to Garfield Thomas “G.T.” Haygood.
G.T. Haygood receives the Holy Ghost. He is called into ministry at Christ Temple Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
1906-1907
Robert Clarence (R.C.) Lawson healed of terminal disease, attends GT Haywood’s church, receives baptism and Holy Ghost and called to preach.
GT Haywood becomes affiliated with Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) and appointed as general chairman.
Elder Lawson joins PAW and begins pastoring in Ohio.
1910-1914
Elder Lawson leaves PAW due to disagreements with GT Haygood and establishes The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith (COOLJC).
Elder Lawson, now bishop, appoints Elder Sherrod Charlotte “SC” Johnson as state overseer for Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
Elder SC Johnson leaves COOLJC in 1932 and forms Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.
1919-1932
Elder SC Johnson, now bishop, appoints Elder Donnie C Deneal as pastor over 2439 Read Street church. Elder Deneal becomes overseer over the state of South Carolina.
Bishop Johnson dies and issues with the incoming leadership cause many elders leave to establish churches across the United States.
Elder Deneal, now bishop, incorporates The Church of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.

1985-Present
Bishop Deneal transfers leadership to Elder J.A Deas and dies in December 1985.
Minister Johnson is sent to oversee the church in Charlotte, NC.
Minister Johnson and Minister Rowson are ordained as elders.
Elder Deas is elevated to the office of Bishop.
